Pompon Pima is a brand with charm and a small explosion of style, where quality and comfort prevail.
We are a family business that was born with the arrival of our first child. Which motivated us to develop this new clothing line for the little ones. We offer top quality garments to clients in Peru and Chile. Our company was founded by Itala Testino.
Our mission
Our mission is that only the best natural fibers touch your baby’s skin and in each garment there is a combination of softness, quality and design which is reflected in the maximum comfort of our children.

All our pieces are produced using natural fibers of the highest quality. Pompon Pima thinks, designs and manufactures unique collections with fresh cuts and bright colours, up to exclusive prints full of life.
The best cotton in the world
Pima cotton has a long, fine and resistant thread, it is a variety of extraordinary quality cultivated in Peru for more than three thousand years. Harvesting it by hand allows it to preserve its whiteness and shine and has a sensation of extreme delicacy. Pure, smooth and brilliant like no other. For that reason Pima cotton is the best cotton in the world.
The qualities of Pima cotton and the classic Pompon Pima design guarantee quality for the little ones. The contact of this raw material with the baby’s delicate skin produces a unique sensation of comfort and warmth.

With the birth of my daughter, I also gave birth to this new project, respecting the purity and tenderness of babies.

Itala is a fashion designer graduated from the French Institute of Art and Fashion, Mod ́ART International, with specialization studies at the MAD Institute of Fashion and Design, at the Domus Academy and at the Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan, she also has a Certificate in Styling from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
She received the 2011 Luces Award for Best Revelation Designer of the Year, awarded by the newspaper El Comercio. She has presented her collections at Miami Fashion Week (MBFW), received the Victoria Puig de Lange International Style Award, and has also been presented at Lima Fashion Week, Vancouver Fashion Week and Peru Fashion Night in Washington DC, always representing the Peru Brand.
Itala is currently dedicated to this personal project called PomponPima. Inspired by the birth of her daughter, Itala has designed a complete collection dedicated to your baby, using the unique Peruvian cotton.
